DON’T QUIT … YET!

Many people give up on something they have believed in for so long, when they were about to have a breakthrough. Why would you pay such a heavy price for a dream you believed in! Then just stand and watch it melt down the drain like it was never worth your fight?

Persistent people begin there success where others quit. Successful people know when to hung-on, when everybody else has dropped their gloves. One person who has commitment, persistence and endurance will accomplish more than a thousand people with interest only. Friends, to succeed in anything you put your mind into, interest alone is not good enough; you need to have a fighting persevering spirit, the spirit of “I will never Quit, until I pull through”.

No obstacle can stand on the way of an undying spirit. Many people keep on worrying about what they don’t have, and nobody worries about what they have. Never worry about how much money, ability or equipment you are starting with; just begin with a million dollars worth of determination. It’s not what you have; it’s what you do with what you have that makes all the difference.

Imagine the pace of the snail; watch the snail can cover many miles regardless of the speed. This tells us that, in life, you can achieve and be anything you ever want to be, if only you can understand your speed, learn and master your strength, and like the snail, start small and be willing to move to the end.
Believe me, you will reach your dream if only you keep your mind focused, your vision clear and keep in motion. Like the snail, it will amaze you how much you will have accomplished. You can’t afford to give up in life yet, you have a lot to accomplish with your life, make a resolution never to quit until you reach your goal. God creates no average; we make average out of ourselves.

Challenge yourself today; what is it you are about to give up on? Dont quit yet! Hung on there, you can make it through. Make a diary of things that you are making a resolution not to give up on, promise yourself, you will hung on till you pull through. DON’T QUIT YET….HUNG ON!

SECURITY = MEDIOCRITY.

We all hear this everyday “Safety First” Mary Pickford once commented that, “don’t look at the sudden loss of a habit or way of life as the end of the road, see it instead as only a bend in the road that will open up all sorts of interesting possibilities and new experiences”. If you honestly must be successful, you must either have a chance or take one. You can’t get your head above water if you never stick your neck out.

J.Mason equips this better by stating that; A dream that does not include risk is not really worthy of being called a dream. I believe that a man who leaves nothing to chance will do few things badly, but he will do very few things. If you will never take risks, you will never accomplish great things. Everybody dies, but not everyone has lived.

I believe that, if you don’t risk anything, you will risk even more. Every person in life has a chance to improve himself, but some just don’t believe in taking chances. I agree with L. Platford when he said that; you have all eternity to be cautious, and then you are dead. Being destined for greatness friends requires you to take risks and confront great hazards. I would be happy to be a lion for a day, than be a sheep all my life. Believe me; if you dare for nothing, you need hope for nothing.

Conrad observed that; I encourage boldness because the danger of seniority and pension plans tempt a young man to settle in a rut named security rather than find his own rainbow; In life, you don’t concentrate on risk , you concentrate on results. There is no risk too great to prevent the necessary job from getting done.

Whenever you see a successful person, I guarantee that person took risks and made courageous decisions. Success favors the bold. The world is a book in which those who do not take risks read only one page. Refuse to join the cautious crowd that plays not to lose. Play to win.

If you have found yourself throughout life never scared, embarrassed, disappointed, or hurt, it means you have never taken any chances. If your life is ever going to get better, you will have to take risks. There is simply no way you can grow without taking chances. I summarize this by the words of Herodotus, who said, “It is better by noble boldness to run the risk of being subject to half of the evils we anticipate than to remain in cowardly listlessness for fear of what may happen”.

Remember, saints are sinners who keep on trying, to escape a valley or rut. Keep on trying; keep on moving through the valley. God is with you…..!

FIND YOUR OWN RAINBOW…!

I agree with the words of Aristotle when he said that “whatever we learn to do, we learn by actually doing it; men come to be builders, for instance by building, and harp players by playing the harp. In the same way , by doing just acts, we come to be just, by doing self-controlled acts, we come to be self-controlled , and by doing brave acts, we become brave”. We become what we are, not because someone thinks so, or made us feel so, but because of the efforts we take to make ourselves. Have you ever imagined how it would be like, if whatever we wished for, we got it?

A wise saying goes that, failures blame their predicaments in life on circumstances, but the wise people look for the right circumstances, and if they don’t get them, they make them. We need to realize, that nobody can ever make you feel inferior, unworthy or ugly, you can only make yourself to feel so. God creates no chunk or failures, but we make chunks and failures out of ourselves. Winston Churchill once pointed that, to all of us comes that moment in life when we are literally tapped on the shoulder to do a very special thing unique to ourselves and our talents. What a pity if that moment finds us unprepared”. You can only shine your rainbow by being ready and prepared to shine.

A lot of people have the will to win and shine in their lives, but not many have the will to prepare to win. You have to develop the will, and the courage to win. You got to learn to take chances in life for you to see your rainbow shine out after the storms. Embrace the valleys and the storms; develop a spirit of a warrior who never gives up until he conquers.

Morris West remarked that, if you spend your whole life inside waiting for the storms, you will never enjoy the sunshine. I don’t know of anyone who reached the top without daring. Life is an adventure, dare yourself, challenge yourself friend, think bigger than yourself, nobody can make you a star, you have to take the responsibility, when you make the resolve to shine, the resolve to get out of mediocrity, the resolve to get out of mediocrity, the resolve to face life’s challenges as a winner, the whole universe will conspire together to grant you your desires.

Dare to dream, dare to shine and stand out and let your rainbow shine out! The world is watching. But remember, you have nobody but yourself to blame. It all depends squarely on you!!

CAN YOU DEFINE LIFE?

Life isn’t about keeping score. It’s not about how many people call you, and it’s not about who you’ve dated, are dating or haven’t dated at all. It isn’t about whom you’ve kissed, what sport you play or which girl or guy likes you.

It’s not about your shoes or your hair or the color of your skin or where you live or go to school. In fact it’s not about grades, money, clothes or colleges that accept you or not.
Life isn’t about if you have loads of friends or if you are alone and it’s not about how accepted or unaccepted you are. Life just isn’t about that!

But life is about whom you love and who you hurt. It’s about how you feel about yourself. It’s about trust, happiness and compassion. It’s about sticking up for your friends and replacing inner hate with love.

Life is about avoiding jealousy, overcoming ignorance and building confidence. It’s about what you say for what you mean. It’s about seeing people for who they are and not what they have. Most of all, it’s about choosing to use your life to touch someone else’s in a way that could never have been achieved otherwise. These choices are what life is about.
By Barine.

CONFESS YOU ARE STRONGER TO DEFEAT….!

Being young is like riding on a carousel of emotions problems, issues, insecurities et al. but don’t let this deter you from challenging life. To challenge is to live a fulfilling winning life.

Youth is a time of rapid change. It can also be a time of confusion. You may feel as if you are standing alone in a wasteland or on a battlefield. Sometimes you may think you can’t believe in anybody, that no one loves you, or that you have no reason to live. You may feel anxious about your looks or have quarreling parents at home, financial worries or a serious illness. From feeling confident and upbeat at one moment, you may be overwhelmed with insecurity, frustration or apathy the next. You may have fundamental questions about yourself: who am I? What should I do with my life? It is quite natural to feel unsure about how to proceed.

It is better to concentrate your energies on what you need to do right now, and gradually your full potential will emerge. The most important thing is not to give up on you, giving in to negativity or cynicism. Don’t compare yourself with others. Be true to who you are and try to cherish and feel content with your irreplaceable life. Even if you are sometimes laughed at, or people let you down, keep going forward and never let yourself be defeated. An easy life where everything goes your way might seem great, but it won’t help you develop your character. You may even become a person who is of no help when things get tough.

There is no such thing as a whole life of smooth sailing. Therefore you are actually doing yourself a favor by taking on difficult challenges, strengthening yourself while you are young. Difficulties can enable you to develop a big heart and become a person of depth and substance. Rather than a life of blank pages, it’s better to live a life crammed full of memories of struggles and wonderfully varied experiences.

Even if you feel powerless, that it is difficult to believe in yourself, please try not to be easily swayed by the views of others, and hold true to what you know is right. Try to believe in yourself. You possess a treasure more valuable than power or fame. To be young is to have hope, passion and freedom. Your whole life lies ahead of you, brimming with possibilities. Set your sight high.

By challenging a great goal, you can break through your limitations and realize incredible growth. It all comes down to you. Don’t rely on others or wait for them to do something.

Try to develop such a strong sense of responsibility that you can stand up to the fiercest storms, confidently proclaiming, “I WILL DO IT. JUST WATCH ME”

SEIZE THE MOMENT.

Winners are self-motivated. They don’t wait for someone else to raise the bar. They raise it themselves. Champions in life arrive early and stay late. They know what they’re there for. They don’t have to be told five times to do something or be given a five minute lecture on how to do it. You give them the challenge, and they get it done.

There are people who work at 50 percent of their ability and who are successful. Then there are the ones who give 110 percent of everything they’ve got and barely make it. Which one would you want? I’d rather have people who give it their all and walk off the field knowing that. In business, life as in athletics, champion is the person who at the end says, “I gave it everything I had, win or lose, you got the best I can give”.

My friends, the ideal never comes, but today is ideal for him who makes it so. Live for today. Don’t let what you have within your grasp today be missed entirely because only the future intrigued you, and the past disheartened you.

Mason argued that doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment. When can you live if not now? All the flowers of tomorrow are in the seeds of today. Begin to live today friend. I believe that there are many people who are at the right place at the right time but don’t know it. It is okay to take time to plan, but when the time of action has arrived, stop thinking and go for it.

You’ve got to know the real value of today, since the future that you long and dream for begins today. The regrets that most people experience in life come from failing to act when they have an opportunity. Dunning said, great opportunities come to all, but many do not know that they have met them. The only preparation to take advantage of them is to watch what each day brings.

Few people know when to rise to the occasion. Most only know when to sit down. Many do spend too much time dreaming of the future, never realizing that a little of it arrives every day. I agree with what Schabacker said that, every day comes bearing its own gifts. Untie the ribbons.
What are you doing with your TODAY?

BY BARINE.

IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU!

Mason commented that our business in life is not to get ahead of others, but to get ahead of ourselves, to break our own records, to outstrip our yesterdays by today, to do our work with more force than ever before. If you would sincerely want to know who is responsible for most of your troubles, take a look in the mirror. Believe me, if you could kick the fellow responsible for most of your problems, you wouldn’t be able to sit down for three weeks. That fellow is you! It is time for us to stay out of our way.

Most people complain of stumbling blocks which they have imposed on themselves. There is little that can withstand a man who can conquer himself. Your own future depends on many things, but much of it is mostly on you. You may succeed if nobody else believes in you, but you will never succeed if you don’t believe in yourself. What you picture in your mind, your mind will go to work to accomplish. When you change your pictures, you automatically change your performance. Whatever you attach consistently to the words, “I am”, you will become.

Its impossible for man to be cheated by anyone but himself. Gain control of your mind, or it will gain control of you. Your imagination dictates your openness to positive direction. As Norman Vincent remarked, “do not build up obstacles in your imagination. Remind yourself that God is with you and that nothing can defeat Him.

No one can defeat you unless first you defeat yourself. Self-image sets the boundaries and limits of each of our individual accomplishments. Colton argued that we are sure to be losers when we quarrel with ourselves. You need to understand that a person who doubts himself is like a man who enlists in the ranks of his enemy and bears arms against himself. You cannot afford to commit treason against your own life and purpose.

You need to realize that your world first exists within you. Everyman carries with him the world in which he must live. When you face challenges and obstacles in life, remember that you are the handicap you must face; you are the one who must choose your place.
As mason summed up, you are your own doctor when it comes to curing cold feet, a hot head, and a stuffy attitude.

By Barine.

BEGIRN WHERE YOU ARE!

Henry Ward once advised that we need to hold yourself responsible to a higher standard than anyone else expects of us. Never ever excuse yourself. Mason is of the opinion that, opportunity is always where you are, never where you were. You need to start with what you have, and not with what you don’t have.

To get anywhere you must launch out for somewhere, or you will get nowhere. Hamilton advised that, the question for each man to settle is not what he would do if he had the means, time, influence and education advantages, but what he will do with the things he has. I am of the opinions that, God will always give us an ability to create what we need from something that is already here. We have to begin from where we are by utilizing or using maximally what we have at hand.

Each person tends to either underrate or overrate that which they do not possess. Howe said that, people are always neglecting something they can do and trying to do something they can’t do. Roosevelt added by saying, do what you can, with what you have, where you are. The best way to learn anything thoroughly is by starting at the bottom. Do what you can Now, don’t wait for tomorrow. Successful people accomplish more than other because they go ahead and do it before they are ready.

Remember, almost everything comes from almost nothing. So, do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not, but remember that what you now have was once among the things only hoped for. Murdock said that, whatever God has already given to you will create anything else He has promised to you.
The truth is, you can’t know what you can do until you try. The most important thing about reaching your dream is starting right where you are.

I would summarize it with the words of Edward Hail who said, “I cannot do everything, but I still can do something, and because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do the something I can do” what are you doing with yourself today? That’s your FUTURE!

CHAMPIONSHIP MENTALITY:

A great mentality always precedes a great performance. All of us like to practice the skills we do well. But winners discipline themselves to work on their weaknesses until they become their strengths.
The difference between a good athlete and a top athlete is that the top athlete will do the mundane things when nobody’s looking. That’s what separates champions from others. A Champions is someone who pays attention to the little things, such as conditioning, proper nutrition and diet. They do it to be a champion, not just because somebody told them to do it.

A champion is somebody who has an outlook of optimism. It’s an attitude; the ability to see the opportunity in the problem. I also believe that, persistence is also important because no one accomplishes everything on the first try. Some people believe in beginners luck. But luck eventually runs out, and then it’s just you and your commitment.

Champions have a mentality where they envision life as an open field without any boundaries. We need to learn to do that which takes us out of our comfort zones. We should be like David, where we find a giant and slay it. Having an attitude of picking an obstacle big enough to matter when you overcome it.

Until you give yourself to some great cause, you haven’t really begun to fully live. H. Miller commented that, the man who looks for security, even in the mind, is like a man who would chop off his limbs in order to have artificial ones which would never give him pain or trouble. Nothing really significant is ever accomplished by a realistic person.

Tradition offers no hope for the present and makes no preparation for the future. Day to day, year by year, broaden your horizons. Know the rules and then break some. Take the lid off. E. Melvin said that, the men(champions) who build the future are those who know that greater things are yet to come and that they themselves will help bring them about. Their minds are illumined by the blazing sun of hope. Champions never stop to doubt, they don’t have the time.

Champions strive to be involved in something bigger than them. Champions knows what they would want to defend, which they achieve by living it, they actualize their dreams. All that is necessary to break the spell of inertia and frustration which keeps you below your potential is to; act as if it were impossible to fail. Champions enjoy doing what others say cannot be done. Be a champion by changing your mind thought process, challenge yourself, live life with no boundaries, and you will ultimately emerge out as the champion.

Remember that; Champions are self motivated. They don’t wait for someone else t raise the bar. They raise it themselves.

By Barine,

OPPORTUNITIES IN ADVERSITY…!

The way to the throne room is through the servant’s quarters, as J. Manson always put it. But, the door to opportunity swings on the hinges of opposition. Caleb Colton said, “Times of general calamity and confusion have ever been productive of the greatest minds. The purest ore is produced from the hottest furnace, and the brightest thunderbolt is the one elicited from the darkest storm”.

Problems are the price of progress. The obstacles of life are intended to make us better, not bitter. Obstacles are merely a call to strengthen your resolve to achieve worthwhile goals. Bob Harrison says, “Between you and anything significant will be giants in your path”. Oral Roberts reflected, “You cannot bring about renewal or change without confrontation”. The truth is, if you like things easy, you will have difficulties. If you like problems, you will succeed.

If you have a dream without aggravations, you don’t really have a dream. You need to understand that; circumstances are the rulers of the weak; but they are the instruments of the wise. The Chinese have a proverb that says, “the germ cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials”. It seems that great trials are the necessary preparation for greatness. For every obstacle you face, God provides a scripture for your answer. Murdock said, “If God cushioned your every blow, you would never learn to grow”. Instead, don’t let your problems take the lead. You take the lead. The problem you face is simply an opportunity for you to do your best. Conflict is good when you know to move with God.

What attitude do we need to have towards difficulties? Boetcker said, “The difficulties and struggles of today are but the best price we must pay for the accomplishment and victory of tomorrow”. Lou H. advised that, “Adversity is another way to measure the greatness of individuals. I never had a crisis that didn’t make me stronger”.

When you encounter obstacles, you will discover things about yourself that you never really knew. Challenges make you stretch, they make you go beyond the norm. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”. Turning an obstacle to your advantage is the first necessary step towards victory.

God promises a safe landing, but not a calm voyage. Life is as uncertain as a grapefruits squirt. When I hear somebody say that “Life is Hard”, I am always tempted to ask, “Compared to what”. We have to face our problems, we can’t run fast or far enough to get away from them all. Rather, we should have the attitude of “never say die”.
Keeping this in mind that, “The breakfast of champions is not cereals; it is obstacles”.

STAND OUT; DON’T BLEND IN….!

I have been an ardent reader of Mason’s books. His core message in his books is clearly “standing out of the crowd”. The majority, many times, is a group of highly motivated snails. If a thousand people say something foolish, it is still foolish. The truth is never dependent upon consensus of opinion.

I believe one of the greatest compliments that anyone can give you is to say, “You are different”. If you ever want to stand out of the crowd, you need to learn to talk differently, act differently, and perform differently. You should always strive to stand out. There should be something different about you. If you do not stand out in a group, if there is not something unique or different in your life, you should re-evaluate yourself my friend.

One way for you to stand head-and-shoulders above the crowd is to choose to do regular, ordinary things in an extraordinary and supernatural way – with great ENTHUSIASM. God has always done some of His very best work through “ordinary” people when the circumstances appeared to be stacked against them. In fact, God sided with the underdog in every battle described in the Bible- the MINORITY.
Majority rule is not always right. It is usually those people who do not have dreams or visions of their own who want to take a vote on everything. People who are part of a group tend to agree on courses of action that they as individuals know are not right.

Don’t be persuaded or dissuaded by group opinion. It does not make any difference what anyone else believes; you must BELIEVE. Never take direction for your personal life from a crowd. Never choose to quite just because somebody disagrees with you. In fact the two worst things you can say to yourself when you get an idea are; “That’s never been done before” and “That’s been done before”. Someone else’s failure in a certain area does not guarantee your failure.

Be a pioneer and stand out!
Do not be afraid to get HIT with a few Arrows.

YOUR PROBLEM IS YOUR BRIDGE TO PROMOTION.

Think of this; every obstacle introduces a people to themselves.
How we respond to those obstacles is the most important thing.

The greatest example of the right response
to an obstacle in the bible is the giant Goliath,
who confronted and intimidated the armies of Israel,
including the brothers of a young shepherd named David.
David’s brothers chose not to do anything about
the obstacles before them, but David did.
What was the difference? It is in the way each viewed the problem.
The brothers looked at the obstacle
and figured it was too big to hit, but David looked at the
obstacle and figured it was too big to miss.

The way you look at any obstacle in your
life makes all the difference. Let each new obstacle
force you to go to the next level in God.
No obstacle will ever leave you the way it found you.
You will be better, or you will be worse.
Keep in mind this important fact about obstacles.
Every obstacle has a limited life span.
We worried about things last year that we can’t even remember today.
Don’t believe the lies that things will not change.

Obstacles subdue mediocre people,
but great leaders learn to rise above them.
You and I need to be like the great man who,
when asked what helped him overcome the obstacles of life, responded “the other obstacle”. We should be like a kite that rises against the wind.
Every problem has a soft spot; there is an answer.
Many people think most of their obstacles are money related,
but the correct perspective is to know that a problem that can be solved with a check book is not really an obstacle, its an expense.

Someone said that obstacles are what we see when
we take our eyes off the goal. Keep your eyes on the
goal and remember that you are not alone in the struggle.

In times of adversity, you don’t have an obstacle, you have a CHOICE.
In the midst of unbelievable circumstances, Believe.
God has a promotion for you.
Take your challenges and hardships
as the bridge to your promotion.

PEOPLE ARE BORN ORIGINAL, MAJORITY DIE COPIES.

The call in your life is not to be a copy.
In this day of peer pressure, trends and fads,
we need to realize that each person has been
custom-made by God the creator. Each of us has a unique call.
Therefore we should be ourselves.
You can only strive in life to be the person God has made you to be.
The call of God upon our lives is the provision of God in our lives.
We do not need to come up to the standards of anyone else.

Average people compare themselves with others,
but we should always compare ourselves with
what God has called us to be.
Our standard is Gods unique plan and design for our lives.
How God chooses to deal with others
has nothing to do with His call for us.
You and I can always find someone richer than we are,
poorer than we are, or more,
or less able than we are.
But how other people are, what they have,
and what happens in their lives have no effect upon our call.

God made you a certain way. You are unique.
You are one of a kind.
To copy others is to cheat yourself out of the fullness
of what God has called you to be and to do.
You need to realize that Imitation is Limitation.

So choose to accept and become the person God has made you to be.

Tap into the originality and creative genius of God in your life.
If you are not you,
then who are you going to be?
A Copy of SOMEONE ELSE?

ABLE – BUT DISABLED?

We are not born brave and heroic.
It is the result of a decision we make when
we choose to live lives based on noble principles,
inspired by courage and impelled by commitment.
Rich Ruffalo, who was a Paralympics’ gold medalist in discuss
gave a description of his challenges and life philosophy as:

I have RP, a genetic disease that causes you to slowly lose your vision,
like a slow leak in a tire. Thirteen years after I was diagnosed,
my lights went out. Today I am a raging bull. I haven’t even made a dent yet.
I took all my negative energy and focused it on doing positive things.
I don’t want to be remembered as a person who set world records for the blind, I want to be remembered as a person who helped others.

Disability is only a state of mind. In my opinion the human body is a container,
and the container comes in different sizes and shapes and colors.
Some have no hair, some are long and slender or short and stout.
Some have no headlights like me.
The most important thing to remember is that the
essence of our humanity is the spirit that lies within our containers.
We all have this spirit, and it is a reservoir of tremendous potential.
When you tap into this potential, you can move mountains.
And if you cant do that, you will still drill right through them.
It’s a choice we have to make at individual/personal level
to be able to utilize and capitalize the potential granted to us by our creator. Don’t just walk by in life, live and leave a mark t
he next generation to feel that someone really existed/lived.
If you are a parent, don’t just be a parent, but be a parent
who impacts a mark in the life of your kids.
My challenge to all is “are you able disabled?”.

OUTWORK THE COMPETITION:

Ralph Boston an Olympic gold medalist,
track and field, was one fellow who understood
the importance of overcoming a competitor.
He said that, “some days, when I didn’t feel like working out,
I would think about the guys I would compete against,
and I would realize that they were probably working out.
That’s all it took to keep me going”
One of his coaches told him that,
in life you meet the same people twice in life- on your way up
and on your way back down.
Their treatment of you the second time depends
entirely on how you treat them the first time.

To outdo your competitor, you need to keep in mind that,
champions are not made in the gyms.
Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-
a desire, a dream and a vision.
Do you have enough of these recipes to outdo your competitor?
In the game of life you play the way you practiced.
So practice like a winner, and when the time to play life comes,
you play like you are practicing.
Everybody is born a winner in some way,
but we negate that power in us, by listening to what other people tell us,
until we loose focus of our potential and goals.
There is only one winner who stands at the podium after the race is over,
there can only be one gold medalist in every race or event.
So practice today like that medal is rightfully yours,
and it will amaze you how all the forces of the universe
will conspire to grant you the victory.

It’s a choice you have to make…!

By Barinen.

SHUT UP..! NO MORE EXCUSES.

Victory comes at a price,
the question we must always ask ourselves is really,
“what price are you willing to pay?”
I have never heard or read of cheap victory.
Any man/woman who ever made or left a mark in their generation had to take calculated risks, which came at a price.
If you ever want to leave a mark in your life,
I don’t care the excuses we give about disadvantaged backgrounds,
you need to ask yourself;
“whether you want that victory bad enough?”
then lay down the challenges you anticipate to face,
and be prepared to pay the price.
Mother Nature is faithful; he will reward your efforts ultimately.

I challenge you to have a spirit of “I AM GOING TO DO IT, OR DIE TRYING”

DO MORE !

Do we ever stop in life to ask ourselves
one most important question: "Do I ever do enough"?
Be it in your daily life, your work/job,
your relationship with your friends or family.
Can you answer this question with a bold YES?
We all enjoy living life on the AVERAGE;
mediocrity has been accepted as a lifestyle.
But we fail to realize that we are all
born unique in our own unique way.
John Mason tried to summarize the best way
in which we can always ensure that we do more;
not just the obvious.:

Do more than exist – Live.
Do more than hear – Listen.
Do more than agree – cooperate.
Do more than talk – communicate.
Do more than grow – Bloom.
Do more than spend – Invest.
Do more than think – Create.
Do more than work – Excel.
Do more than share – Give.
Do more than decide – Discern.
Do more than consider – Commit.
Do more than forgive – Forget.
Do more than help – Serve.
Do more than co-exist – Reconcile.
Do more than sing – Worshp.
Do more than think – Plan.
Do more than dream – Do.
Do more than see – Perceive.
Do more than read – Apply.
Do more than receive – Reciprocate.
Do more than choose – Focus.
Do more than wish – Believe.
Do more than encourage – Inspire.
Do more than change – Improve.
Do more than Ponder – Pray.
Do more than just live – Live for JESUS.

YOUR BEST DAY IS NOW.

Do you ever put off until tomorrow what
you know you should have done yesterday?
Many people kill time, without noticing that
any time you do that, you are killing the purpose of your being.
We all wait for the perfect time and condition
before we can take up our next move or challenge.

Do you stop to notice that everyone is on the move?
People are moving forward, backward and sometimes nowhere
at all as though they are on a treadmill.
The mistake most people make is thinking that
the main goal of life is to stay busy.
Such thinking I bet is a trap.

What is important is not whether you are busy,
but whether you are progressing.
The main question is that of ACTIVITY vs ACCOMPLISHMENT.
Procrastinators are known to be good at talking, not doing.
Mark Twain once said that “Noise produces nothing.
Often a hen who has merely laid an egg
cackles as though she has laid an asteroid”.

We need to wake up and realize the only time we have,
be it future or today is all summed up in NOW!
The cost of growth in life is less
than the cost of stagnation.

My challenge to you is:
let’s wake up and make progress NOW,
stop the EXCUSES.

Think Positively

I occasionally meet people who are struggling financially, and they tell me about their efforts to apply the LoA. They tell me about how they shifted their vibration (thoughts, feelings, actions) to align with financial abundance, but they’re still manifesting scarcity. Some of them are on the verge of concluding that the LoA doesn’t really work.

However, from my perspective, it only takes a few minutes of conversation to see that such people are still broadcasting scarcity through every pore. How can they not see it? How can they kid themselves into thinking they have a mindset of abundance when it’s so obvious to me they’re still stuck in a scarcity mentality? Their mannerisms and choice of words always betray their true vibration.

It’s the same with singing, isn’t it? The way you sound to others and the way you sound to yourself may not match. So which one is the true vibration you’re putting out? When it comes to singing, the truth is represented by the sound waves emanating from your mouth. It doesn’t matter what you’re hearing in your head.

Many people don’t realize that this is how the LoA works as well. Your true vibration isn’t what you’re thinking or feeling in your head. Your true vibration is what you’re broadcasting out to the universe.

You need to have a Positive Mental Attitude in life for to achieve anything. Challenge yourself from today, develop a culture of thinking positive over every situation, and it will amaze you what you can achieve.....
