CHAMPIONSHIP MENTALITY:

A great mentality always precedes a great performance. All of us like to practice the skills we do well. But winners discipline themselves to work on their weaknesses until they become their strengths.
The difference between a good athlete and a top athlete is that the top athlete will do the mundane things when nobody’s looking. That’s what separates champions from others. A Champions is someone who pays attention to the little things, such as conditioning, proper nutrition and diet. They do it to be a champion, not just because somebody told them to do it.

A champion is somebody who has an outlook of optimism. It’s an attitude; the ability to see the opportunity in the problem. I also believe that, persistence is also important because no one accomplishes everything on the first try. Some people believe in beginners luck. But luck eventually runs out, and then it’s just you and your commitment.

Champions have a mentality where they envision life as an open field without any boundaries. We need to learn to do that which takes us out of our comfort zones. We should be like David, where we find a giant and slay it. Having an attitude of picking an obstacle big enough to matter when you overcome it.

Until you give yourself to some great cause, you haven’t really begun to fully live. H. Miller commented that, the man who looks for security, even in the mind, is like a man who would chop off his limbs in order to have artificial ones which would never give him pain or trouble. Nothing really significant is ever accomplished by a realistic person.

Tradition offers no hope for the present and makes no preparation for the future. Day to day, year by year, broaden your horizons. Know the rules and then break some. Take the lid off. E. Melvin said that, the men(champions) who build the future are those who know that greater things are yet to come and that they themselves will help bring them about. Their minds are illumined by the blazing sun of hope. Champions never stop to doubt, they don’t have the time.

Champions strive to be involved in something bigger than them. Champions knows what they would want to defend, which they achieve by living it, they actualize their dreams. All that is necessary to break the spell of inertia and frustration which keeps you below your potential is to; act as if it were impossible to fail. Champions enjoy doing what others say cannot be done. Be a champion by changing your mind thought process, challenge yourself, live life with no boundaries, and you will ultimately emerge out as the champion.

Remember that; Champions are self motivated. They don’t wait for someone else t raise the bar. They raise it themselves.
