CHAMPIONSHIP MENTALITY:
The difference between a good athlete and a top athlete is that the top athlete will do the mundane things when nobody’s looking. That’s what separates champions from others. A Champions is someone who pays attention to the little things, such as conditioning, proper nutrition and diet. They do it to be a champion, not just because somebody told them to do it.
A champion is somebody who has an outlook of optimism. It’s an attitude; the ability to see the opportunity in the problem. I also believe that, persistence is also important because no one accomplishes everything on the first try. Some people believe in beginners luck. But luck eventually runs out, and then it’s just you and your commitment.
Champions have a mentality where they envision life as an open field without any boundaries. We need to learn to do that which takes us out of our comfort zones. We should be like David, where we find a giant and slay it. Having an attitude of picking an obstacle big enough to matter when you overcome it.
Until you give yourself to some great cause, you haven’t really begun to fully live. H. Miller commented that, the man who looks for security, even in the mind, is like a man who would chop off his limbs in order to have artificial ones which would never give him pain or trouble. Nothing really significant is ever accomplished by a realistic person.
Tradition offers no hope for the present and makes no preparation for the future. Day to day, year by year, broaden your horizons. Know the rules and then break some. Take the lid off. E. Melvin said that, the men(champions) who build the future are those who know that greater things are yet to come and that they themselves will help bring them about. Their minds are illumined by the blazing sun of hope. Champions never stop to doubt, they don’t have the time.
Champions strive to be involved in something bigger than them. Champions knows what they would want to defend, which they achieve by living it, they actualize their dreams. All that is necessary to break the spell of inertia and frustration which keeps you below your potential is to; act as if it were impossible to fail. Champions enjoy doing what others say cannot be done. Be a champion by changing your mind thought process, challenge yourself, live life with no boundaries, and you will ultimately emerge out as the champion.
Remember that; Champions are self motivated. They don’t wait for someone else t raise the bar. They raise it themselves.

OPPORTUNITIES IN ADVERSITY…!
Problems are the price of progress. The obstacles of life are intended to make us better, not bitter. Obstacles are merely a call to strengthen your resolve to achieve worthwhile goals. Bob Harrison says, “Between you and anything significant will be giants in your path”. Oral Roberts reflected, “You cannot bring about renewal or change without confrontation”. The truth is, if you like things easy, you will have difficulties. If you like problems, you will succeed.
If you have a dream without aggravations, you don’t really have a dream. You need to understand that; circumstances are the rulers of the weak; but they are the instruments of the wise. The Chinese have a proverb that says, “the germ cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials”. It seems that great trials are the necessary preparation for greatness. For every obstacle you face, God provides a scripture for your answer. Murdock said, “If God cushioned your every blow, you would never learn to grow”. Instead, don’t let your problems take the lead. You take the lead. The problem you face is simply an opportunity for you to do your best. Conflict is good when you know to move with God.
What attitude do we need to have towards difficulties? Boetcker said, “The difficulties and struggles of today are but the best price we must pay for the accomplishment and victory of tomorrow”. Lou H. advised that, “Adversity is another way to measure the greatness of individuals. I never had a crisis that didn’t make me stronger”.
When you encounter obstacles, you will discover things about yourself that you never really knew. Challenges make you stretch, they make you go beyond the norm. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “The ultimate measure of man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”. Turning an obstacle to your advantage is the first necessary step towards victory.
God promises a safe landing, but not a calm voyage. Life is as uncertain as a grapefruits squirt. When I hear somebody say that “Life is Hard”, I am always tempted to ask, “Compared to what”. We have to face our problems, we can’t run fast or far enough to get away from them all. Rather, we should have the attitude of “never say die”.
Keeping this in mind that, “The breakfast of champions is not cereals; it is obstacles”.

STAND OUT; DON’T BLEND IN….!
I believe one of the greatest compliments that anyone can give you is to say, “You are different”. If you ever want to stand out of the crowd, you need to learn to talk differently, act differently, and perform differently. You should always strive to stand out. There should be something different about you. If you do not stand out in a group, if there is not something unique or different in your life, you should re-evaluate yourself my friend.
One way for you to stand head-and-shoulders above the crowd is to choose to do regular, ordinary things in an extraordinary and supernatural way – with great ENTHUSIASM. God has always done some of His very best work through “ordinary” people when the circumstances appeared to be stacked against them. In fact, God sided with the underdog in every battle described in the Bible- the MINORITY.
Majority rule is not always right. It is usually those people who do not have dreams or visions of their own who want to take a vote on everything. People who are part of a group tend to agree on courses of action that they as individuals know are not right.
Don’t be persuaded or dissuaded by group opinion. It does not make any difference what anyone else believes; you must BELIEVE. Never take direction for your personal life from a crowd. Never choose to quite just because somebody disagrees with you. In fact the two worst things you can say to yourself when you get an idea are; “That’s never been done before” and “That’s been done before”. Someone else’s failure in a certain area does not guarantee your failure.
Be a pioneer and stand out!
Do not be afraid to get HIT with a few Arrows.

YOUR PROBLEM IS YOUR BRIDGE TO PROMOTION.
How we respond to those obstacles is the most important thing.
The greatest example of the right response
to an obstacle in the bible is the giant Goliath,
who confronted and intimidated the armies of Israel,
including the brothers of a young shepherd named David.
David’s brothers chose not to do anything about
the obstacles before them, but David did.
What was the difference? It is in the way each viewed the problem.
The brothers looked at the obstacle
and figured it was too big to hit, but David looked at the
obstacle and figured it was too big to miss.
The way you look at any obstacle in your
life makes all the difference. Let each new obstacle
force you to go to the next level in God.
No obstacle will ever leave you the way it found you.
You will be better, or you will be worse.
Keep in mind this important fact about obstacles.
Every obstacle has a limited life span.
We worried about things last year that we can’t even remember today.
Don’t believe the lies that things will not change.
Obstacles subdue mediocre people,
but great leaders learn to rise above them.
You and I need to be like the great man who,
when asked what helped him overcome the obstacles of life, responded “the other obstacle”. We should be like a kite that rises against the wind.
Every problem has a soft spot; there is an answer.
Many people think most of their obstacles are money related,
but the correct perspective is to know that a problem that can be solved with a check book is not really an obstacle, its an expense.
Someone said that obstacles are what we see when
we take our eyes off the goal. Keep your eyes on the
goal and remember that you are not alone in the struggle.
In times of adversity, you don’t have an obstacle, you have a CHOICE.
In the midst of unbelievable circumstances, Believe.
God has a promotion for you.
Take your challenges and hardships
as the bridge to your promotion.

PEOPLE ARE BORN ORIGINAL, MAJORITY DIE COPIES.
In this day of peer pressure, trends and fads,
we need to realize that each person has been
custom-made by God the creator. Each of us has a unique call.
Therefore we should be ourselves.
You can only strive in life to be the person God has made you to be.
The call of God upon our lives is the provision of God in our lives.
We do not need to come up to the standards of anyone else.
Average people compare themselves with others,
but we should always compare ourselves with
what God has called us to be.
Our standard is Gods unique plan and design for our lives.
How God chooses to deal with others
has nothing to do with His call for us.
You and I can always find someone richer than we are,
poorer than we are, or more,
or less able than we are.
But how other people are, what they have,
and what happens in their lives have no effect upon our call.
God made you a certain way. You are unique.
You are one of a kind.
To copy others is to cheat yourself out of the fullness
of what God has called you to be and to do.
You need to realize that Imitation is Limitation.
So choose to accept and become the person God has made you to be.
Tap into the originality and creative genius of God in your life.
If you are not you,
then who are you going to be?
A Copy of SOMEONE ELSE?

ABLE – BUT DISABLED?
It is the result of a decision we make when
we choose to live lives based on noble principles,
inspired by courage and impelled by commitment.
Rich Ruffalo, who was a Paralympics’ gold medalist in discuss
gave a description of his challenges and life philosophy as:
I have RP, a genetic disease that causes you to slowly lose your vision,
like a slow leak in a tire. Thirteen years after I was diagnosed,
my lights went out. Today I am a raging bull. I haven’t even made a dent yet.
I took all my negative energy and focused it on doing positive things.
I don’t want to be remembered as a person who set world records for the blind, I want to be remembered as a person who helped others.
Disability is only a state of mind. In my opinion the human body is a container,
and the container comes in different sizes and shapes and colors.
Some have no hair, some are long and slender or short and stout.
Some have no headlights like me.
The most important thing to remember is that the
essence of our humanity is the spirit that lies within our containers.
We all have this spirit, and it is a reservoir of tremendous potential.
When you tap into this potential, you can move mountains.
And if you cant do that, you will still drill right through them.
It’s a choice we have to make at individual/personal level
to be able to utilize and capitalize the potential granted to us by our creator. Don’t just walk by in life, live and leave a mark t
he next generation to feel that someone really existed/lived.
If you are a parent, don’t just be a parent, but be a parent
who impacts a mark in the life of your kids.
My challenge to all is “are you able disabled?”.

OUTWORK THE COMPETITION:
track and field, was one fellow who understood
the importance of overcoming a competitor.
He said that, “some days, when I didn’t feel like working out,
I would think about the guys I would compete against,
and I would realize that they were probably working out.
That’s all it took to keep me going”
One of his coaches told him that,
in life you meet the same people twice in life- on your way up
and on your way back down.
Their treatment of you the second time depends
entirely on how you treat them the first time.
To outdo your competitor, you need to keep in mind that,
champions are not made in the gyms.
Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-
a desire, a dream and a vision.
Do you have enough of these recipes to outdo your competitor?
In the game of life you play the way you practiced.
So practice like a winner, and when the time to play life comes,
you play like you are practicing.
Everybody is born a winner in some way,
but we negate that power in us, by listening to what other people tell us,
until we loose focus of our potential and goals.
There is only one winner who stands at the podium after the race is over,
there can only be one gold medalist in every race or event.
So practice today like that medal is rightfully yours,
and it will amaze you how all the forces of the universe
will conspire to grant you the victory.
It’s a choice you have to make…!
By Barinen.
SHUT UP..! NO MORE EXCUSES.
the question we must always ask ourselves is really,
“what price are you willing to pay?”
I have never heard or read of cheap victory.
Any man/woman who ever made or left a mark in their generation had to take calculated risks, which came at a price.
If you ever want to leave a mark in your life,
I don’t care the excuses we give about disadvantaged backgrounds,
you need to ask yourself;
“whether you want that victory bad enough?”
then lay down the challenges you anticipate to face,
and be prepared to pay the price.
Mother Nature is faithful; he will reward your efforts ultimately.
I challenge you to have a spirit of “I AM GOING TO DO IT, OR DIE TRYING”

DO MORE !
one most important question: "Do I ever do enough"?
Be it in your daily life, your work/job,
your relationship with your friends or family.
Can you answer this question with a bold YES?
We all enjoy living life on the AVERAGE;
mediocrity has been accepted as a lifestyle.
But we fail to realize that we are all
born unique in our own unique way.
John Mason tried to summarize the best way
in which we can always ensure that we do more;
not just the obvious.:
Do more than exist – Live.
Do more than hear – Listen.
Do more than agree – cooperate.
Do more than talk – communicate.
Do more than grow – Bloom.
Do more than spend – Invest.
Do more than think – Create.
Do more than work – Excel.
Do more than share – Give.
Do more than decide – Discern.
Do more than consider – Commit.
Do more than forgive – Forget.
Do more than help – Serve.
Do more than co-exist – Reconcile.
Do more than sing – Worshp.
Do more than think – Plan.
Do more than dream – Do.
Do more than see – Perceive.
Do more than read – Apply.
Do more than receive – Reciprocate.
Do more than choose – Focus.
Do more than wish – Believe.
Do more than encourage – Inspire.
Do more than change – Improve.
Do more than Ponder – Pray.
Do more than just live – Live for JESUS.
YOUR BEST DAY IS NOW.
you know you should have done yesterday?
Many people kill time, without noticing that
any time you do that, you are killing the purpose of your being.
We all wait for the perfect time and condition
before we can take up our next move or challenge.
Do you stop to notice that everyone is on the move?
People are moving forward, backward and sometimes nowhere
at all as though they are on a treadmill.
The mistake most people make is thinking that
the main goal of life is to stay busy.
Such thinking I bet is a trap.
What is important is not whether you are busy,
but whether you are progressing.
The main question is that of ACTIVITY vs ACCOMPLISHMENT.
Procrastinators are known to be good at talking, not doing.
Mark Twain once said that “Noise produces nothing.
Often a hen who has merely laid an egg
cackles as though she has laid an asteroid”.
We need to wake up and realize the only time we have,
be it future or today is all summed up in NOW!
The cost of growth in life is less
than the cost of stagnation.
My challenge to you is:
let’s wake up and make progress NOW,
stop the EXCUSES.

Think Positively
However, from my perspective, it only takes a few minutes of conversation to see that such people are still broadcasting scarcity through every pore. How can they not see it? How can they kid themselves into thinking they have a mindset of abundance when it’s so obvious to me they’re still stuck in a scarcity mentality? Their mannerisms and choice of words always betray their true vibration.
It’s the same with singing, isn’t it? The way you sound to others and the way you sound to yourself may not match. So which one is the true vibration you’re putting out? When it comes to singing, the truth is represented by the sound waves emanating from your mouth. It doesn’t matter what you’re hearing in your head.
Many people don’t realize that this is how the LoA works as well. Your true vibration isn’t what you’re thinking or feeling in your head. Your true vibration is what you’re broadcasting out to the universe.
You need to have a Positive Mental Attitude in life for to achieve anything. Challenge yourself from today, develop a culture of thinking positive over every situation, and it will amaze you what you can achieve.....
